The Junior League of Waco’s (JLW) Endowment Funds were established in the year 2000 to sustain, expand and initiate League created programs. The Community Projects and Clifton House funds are designed to be self-sustaining so as to provide long-term financial security for the League in order for us to continue our volunteer involvement in the Waco community.

The Junior League of Waco strives to meet the changing needs and conditions of our community and has historically been a provider of effective solutions to problems in McLennan County. Endowment Fund gifts are vital to maintain excellence and ensure the flexibility that has enabled the Junior League of Waco to develop timely solutions to tough social problems.

The Community Projects Endowment Fund provides funding for our many community projects, which have been focused on early childhood development initiatives for the last few years. Current projects include, but are not limited to campaigns for Pre-K awareness, promoting Pre-K literacy and learning, Pre-K professional development opportunities for educators, and a Pre-K Round-Up resource fair to promote Pre-K enrollment.

The Clifton House Endowment Fund is to finance the many needs of operating the historic home that serves as the Junior League of Waco’s headquarters.

To give a gift that has lasting benefits, any individual, group or business may contribute to the Junior League of Waco Endowment Fund at any time. The Endowment Fund is also an excellent vehicle through which to make an honorarium or memorial for someone associated with the League. Every donation helps us look forward to the future while continuing to provide community programs. We accept gifts in any amount.
