Adopted as a signature project in 1998, the Rainbow Room is a collaborative project between the Junior League of Waco and McLennan County Child Protective Services. The Rainbow Room is an emergency resource center that distributes new items such as clothing, shoes, diapers, and formula to Child Protective Services caseworkers so that they may meet the critical needs of children entering foster care or relative care. Thousands of dollars in new, unused items are provided each year through the 24-hour store-like setting and through our newest collaboration, a Back-to-School Event which helps to provide clothing and supplies for children served by CPS.
